donors and sponsors. An adaptive tricycle varies in price but generally the cost
of a mid-range trike (Based on Rifton 2021 pricing) includes:
$ 1,170 = trike frame
$ 360 = seat
$ 145 = handlebar
$ 485 = full trunk support system
$ 45 = front pulley
$ 135 = guide bar to help child steer
$ 220 = headrest for neck support and fatigue
$ 2,560 = approximate cost of an entire new trike! Additional costs for other
accessories, this is just an example. Other manufactures begin at higher prices.
